Welcome to the QCTiP 2026 Talks Submission Site
This is the official submission portal for Quantum Computing Theory in Practice 2026 (QCTiP 2026), held in Oxford on 20–22 April 2026.
Important: This site is for contributed talk submissions only. Poster-only submissions must be submitted via a separate poster submission site.
QCTiP brings together researchers working on theoretical aspects of quantum information and computation with a strong connection to practice. We invite submissions reporting recent, original advances across quantum algorithms, architectures, error correction, compilation, verification, benchmarking, near-term quantum computing, and related topics.
Contributed Talk Submissions
Talk submissions must include a full technical manuscript with all technical details. Manuscripts available on repositories such as arXiv are acceptable, but you must still upload a PDF copy. Only original research papers will be considered; survey papers, PhD theses, and white papers are not eligible.
Required uploads (two PDFs):
- A self-contained 3-page extended abstract
- A technical manuscript (ideally available on arXiv); if your submission comprises multiple papers, please combine them into a single PDF
The programme committee will base decisions largely on the extended abstract, and may review the full paper at their discretion. Submissions must be complete and include sufficient information to allow verification of results.
Submissions not selected for talks may be offered the opportunity to present as posters, unless deemed out of scope by the programme committee. No action is required on this site for such invitations.
Key Dates
- Talk submission opening: TBC
- Talk submission deadline: 11 January 2026
- Poster submission deadline (separate site): 25 January 2026
- Notification of acceptance: 20 February 2026
- Conference dates: 20–22 April 2026
In-person attendance: Accepted presenters are expected to attend the workshop in person and should ensure they purchase a ticket before the registration deadline.
For full conference details, including venue and programme committee information, please visit the main conference website.
Hint: If you are unsure whether your work fits better as a talk or poster, consider submitting as a talk. Poster-only submission remains available as an alternative via the separate poster submission site.
